Product and Ingredient Information

Why do you allow your bar soaps to cure for 4-6 weeks before they become available?

The longer it cures, the more excess water is evaporated, which in turn creates a denser, harder, and longer lasting bar of soap! Also allows for the pH in the bars to come down to levels that are gentle for skin.

Are your products cruelty free?

We never test on animals! We carefully source ingredients from ethical U.S. suppliers to ensure sustainability and quality.

Where can I shop your products locally?

We have a few pop-up markets planned this year! Connect with us on social media to stay updated or subscribe to our newsletter.

Why do you use Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) in your bar soaps?

Chemistry! Sodium Hydroxide, otherwise known as Lye, is an inorganic compound used to turn oils into soap through a chemical reaction called Saponification. After a few days, all the lye is turned into soap and is safe to use on skin. There is NO lye present in the final bar!

What makes Simply Soaped Co soaps different from store-bought soaps?

Our soaps are handcrafted using the traditional cold process method, allowing us to preserve the natural glycerin that keeps your skin hydrated. Unlike mass-produced soaps, we use high-quality, skin-nourishing oils and butters, vibrant designs, and unique scents—free from harsh chemicals like parabens and phthalates.

Are your soaps safe for sensitive skin?

We carefully select skin-loving ingredients, but do keep in mind, everyone’s skin is different. If you have extremely sensitive skin or allergies, we recommend checking our ingredient list or doing a small patch test before full use.
